Junior -- 2010-11: Finished fifth (20:45) at the King of the Hill 5K; Ran the Louisville Classic 5K in 19:00.88... Finished eighth in the 5000m Run at the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships with a time of 17:56.46...

Sophomore -- 2009-10: Broke a nine-year old school record in the 5000m run in a time of 17:57.11 at the Great Dane Classic (1/22)...ran the mile in 5:23.21 at Jimmy Carnes Invitational (1/31)...finished seventh in her first 3000m run of the season with a time of 10:38.78 at GVSU Big Meet (12/15).

2009 Outdoor: Placed 2nd in the 3000M Steeplechase with a time of 11:24.66 at the SBC Championship, earning All-Conference laurels, and placed 4th in the 10000M run (38:03.75)...her time in the steeple at the championships and her time of 11:40.16 at the UCF Invitational rank third and fourth, respectively, in FIU's record books. Indoor: Placed 11th in the 5000M run (18:50.17) at the SBC Championships.

Freshman -- 2008-09: Led the Panthers with a fifth place finish at the FLRunners.com Meet with a season-best time of 18:51.22...led FIU at the SBC Championships with a time of 19:28.92 for 14th place.

Prep: Ran Cross Country and Track for four years at Doral Academy... Also played soccer and basketball one year... Track & Field MVP, Cross Country MVP and All-County from 2005-08... Posted a time of 19:10 in the 5K and 11:42 in the 2 Mile... District champ in 2006, finished eighth at state championships... Ninth at states in 2007... Graduated Suma Cum Laude at Doral.

Personal: Born Aug. 8, 1990 in Lima, Peru... Majoring in biology... Recruited by Florida Atlantic and Miami.
