2008 (Junior): Versatile player who appeared in eight games, starting seven of them...played various offensive line positions, but settled in at left guard after returning from an early-season injury...helped the offensive line lower its sacks allowed total from 32 to 27.

2007 (Sophomore): Played in 11 games, making 10 starts at left tackle...missed one start against Maryland (9/8) despite breaking a bone in his hand in the opener against Penn State (9/1).

2006 (Freshman): Started all 12 games at left tackle during his true freshman campaign.

Springstead High School: An all-county performer at Central High School as a junior and senior who transferred to Springstead where he was a heavyweight wrestler for the Eagles...football team captain at Central as a senior...also competed in track and weightlifting.

Personal: Born December 27, 1987...chose FIU over interest shown by UCF and USF...son of Andrew and Cynthia Leavine...physical education major.
