2012 (Senior): Played in the Texas vs. the Nation All-Star game and was participated in the NFL Scouting Combine…was named the All-Sun Belt Conference postseason first-team…arguably one of the top defensive ends ever to play at FIU…a three-time All-Sun Belt Conference honoree and 2012 team captain, started the most career games ever by a defensive lineman at FIU (39)…in 2012, Williams led the team with 14.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks and two forced fumbles, going along with a career-high 46 total tackles (including 29 solo), two pass break-ups and three quarterback hurries…finished his FIU tenure second to Antwan Barnes (2003-06) in career tackles for loss (45.5), yardage from TFLs (224), sacks (18.0) and yardage from sacks (155)…following the 2012 season, league coaches chose Williams onto the All-SBC Conference First-Team…the year-ending accolade was his third straight, after second-team recognition following the 2010 and 2011 seasons…recognition was plenty for Williams surrounding his senior season in Miami…voted the Sun Belt Conference Preseason Defensive Player of the Year by the league’s coaches and media and earned a spot on the 2012 Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team...selected to the first-ever Senior Bowl Watch List...named to the 2012 College Football Performance Awards Defense Watch List...named as Lindy’s Sun Belt Conference Preseason Defensive Player of the Year...earned unanimous preseason All-Sun Belt Conference First-Team honors from Athlon’s, Blue Ribbon, CBSSports.com, Lindy’s and Phil Steele, as well as Lindy’s No. 1 NFL talent in the Sun Belt Conference…served as a team captain...twice earned national recognition from College Football Performance Awards in 2012…was named the National Defensive Lineman of the Week for week three, after the UCF game, and honorable mention in week seven against Middle Tennessee.
2011 (Junior): All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team...named to Phil Steele’s All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team...was No. 4 in the Sun Belt for tackles for loss (13.0) in 2011, and placed 10th for sacks (4.5)...played in all 13 games, starting 12...totaled 32 tackles, including a team-leading 13 tackles for loss...his 1.0 per game tackles for loss average tied for 87th nationally...recorded 4.5 sacks on the season...had four pass breakups and four quarterback hurries...led the Panthers historic upset 24-17 win at Louisville (9/9) with three tackles for loss, including two sacks...had six tackles and two sacks in the win vs. Troy (10/25) and five tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss in the win vs. FAU (11/12)...had an impressive four tackles for loss in the win over ULM (11/19), second-most all-time in a game at FIU.
2010 (Sophomore): All-Sun Belt Conference Second Team…finished second on the team to Jarvis Wilson with six sacks for 36 yards…had 46 tackles, 13.5 for loss…registered five tackles, 0.5 for loss at Texas A&M (9/18) where the defense was rewarded by ESPN.com with a helmet sticker…had a sack for seven yards and 0.5 tackles for loss at Maryland (9/25)…totaled two tackles, one for loss at Pittsburgh (10/2)…had five tackles against WKU (10/9)...had a tackle for loss for three yards at North Texas (10/16)...had four tackles and assisted on one for loss at FAU (10/30)...lived in the backfield against ULM (11/6) registering career and season-highs with two sacks and four tackles for loss while totaling four tackles...had a sack and two tackles at Troy (11/13)...had a season-high nine tackles and added a huge sack in the final minutes of the Louisiana (11/20) game...had four tackles, one for loss against Arkansas State (11/27)...finished the regular season with a sack and three tackles against Middle Tennessee (12/4)...closed out the season with four tackles, including one for loss in FIU’s victory over Toledo in the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl (12/26).
2009 (Freshman): Appeared in all 12 games, earning a start against Middle Tennessee (11/7)...registered three tackles against Alabama (9/12)...had one assist against Rutgers (9/19)...recorded four tackles against Toledo (9/26)...had a breakout game against ULM (10/3) with five stops, two of them for a loss, and one sack…had two tackles, one for a loss against WKU (10/10)…made two stops, one and a half for a loss against Troy (10/17)…made two stops against Arkansas State (10/24)…had one tackle, and the game-winning field goal block in overtime against Louisiana (10/31)…made two tackles in his start against Middle Tennessee…had two stops against North Texas ( 11/14)…registered three unassisted tackles against Florida (11/21)…closed out the season with one stop and another blocked kick against FAU (12/5).
