2012 (Senior): Played in the 2012 NLPA Collegiate Bowl…earned All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team honors in 2012…named to the Outland Trophy 2012 Preseason Watch List...selected to the first-ever Senior Bowl Watch List...voted by league coaches and media to the 2012 Preseason All-Sun Belt Conference Team...earned unanimous preseason All-Sun Belt Conference First-Team honors from Athlon’s, Blue Ribbon, CBSSports.com, Lindy’s and Phil Steele, as well as Lindy’s No. 6 NFL talent in the Sun Belt Conference...a key part of a veteran FIU offensive line who has recorded 37 starts at FIU…has started each game in 2012...served as a team captain.


2011 (Junior): All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team...chosen to Phil Steele’s All-Sun Belt Conference Second-Team...at left tackle, was a key part of an offensive line that gave up the second-fewest sacks in 2011...started all 13 games...helped paved the way for the second most team rushing yards in a season as FIU backs ran for 1,893 yards.


2010 (Sophomore): Played and started in 12 games...chosen to Phil Steele’s All-Sun Belt Conference Third-Team…helped pave the way for the 27th-ranked rushing offense in the country, a single-season program record of 2,438 yards on the ground going into the bowl game…helped the offensive line allow just 1.54 sacks-per-game, good enough for 38th in the country...the offensive line as a whole received an ESPN.com helmet sticker against Troy (11/13) when they opened holes for the running game to the tune of a program-record 448 rushing yards.


2009 (Freshman): College of the Canyons C.C.: Played football and threw the shot put for the track team.


Beverly Hills: Committed to FIU on Aug. 9, 2010…chose FIU over interest from Arizona State, Nebraska, Oregon, San Diego State, Syracuse, Texas, UCLA, Washington and Washington State…selected as a West All-Star at the 2009 Gridiron Academy…named to the 2008 Under Armour/Scout All-Combine Team: Los Angeles…First-Team All-League as a junior…rated three (3) stars from the Rivals recruiting service…Rivals’ No. 49 offensive guard in 2009 and the No. 93 overall player on  their California Postseason Top 100…Scout rated him the No. 66 guard nationally.
