MIAMI (Aug. 23, 2013) – The FIU Athletic Department announced today a partnership with Lime Fresh Mexican Grill (Downtown Dadeland & West Kendall) in which the “Not Your Average Burrito Joint” has secured the naming rights for the court at U.S. Century Bank Arena.

With the four-year deal, the FIU volleyball and men’s and women’s basketball teams will play their home events on Lime Court at U.S. Century Bank Arena.

"The FIU Athletic Department could not be more excited to have partnered with Grant [Gussin] and his two Lime locations in West Kendall and Dadeland,” Assistant AD for Development Chris Bultinck said. “The court at U.S. Century Bank Arena has a unique and groundbreaking design and the Lime Fresh Mexican Grill brand is a perfect complement to that. We look forward to a long-lasting partnership and thank him for his support of FIU Athletics.”

"I am ecstatic about the sponsorship and partnership between my Lime locations and FIU,” Lime Fresh Mexican Grill franchise owner Grant Gussin said. “The opportunity to have naming rights and our Lime logo on the new beach-themed basketball court was a natural fit. Additionally, with so many current students and alumni both eating and working at my Downtown Dadeland and West Kendall stores on a daily basis, it was an easy decision to commit to the same people that support me. These are very exciting times for FIU and its athletic department and I am thrilled to be a small part of it."
