FIU External Relation’s mission is to protect and promote the use of FIU’s name and logos. The Licensing program ensures that the University's logos are used in a proper manner to uphold with the University's vision of class and integrity.
To able to produce any product bearing FIU trademarks, you will need to contact External Relations. The Logo and Style Guide Page displays all trademarks of the University include verbiage.
Look for the Label
When shopping for FIU merchandise, look for the "Officially Licensed Product" label. This label is your assurance that the product you are purchasing has been approved and represents the goodwill of the University. Products that do not bear the label, but using the marks of FIU, may represent infringement of the trademark laws.
If you suspect someone is selling or producing unlicensed material, please fill out the Unlicensed Product Report Form.
Becoming a Licensee
Anyone wishing to produce items with the FIU logos on it must first become a licensee. To become a licensee, you must complete a licensing agreement with the University's licensing agent, Strategic Marketing Affiliates (SMA).

XOS Digital is the exclusive licensing agent for all FIU Athletics videos and photographs. The use of video and photographs owned and controlled by FIU Athletics requires the permission of XOS, on behalf of FIU or the Sun Belt Conference as appropriate. Athletics Photography and Video Policy
Photographs, film/videotape, drawings or audio descriptions made or taken by the credential-holder may be used solely for reporting the athletic event as a news item. Any secondary commercial use of photographs, film/videotape, drawings or audio descriptions of the athletic event or its participants made or taken by the credential holder or the accredited organization to which this credential is issued is prohibited without prior specific written permission of FIU Athletics.
