Former FIU receiver Greg Ellingson is No. 2 in the CFL in receiving with 743 yards and 6 touchdowns. Ellingson, who plays for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats, had 111 receiving yards and 2 TDs on Saturday to move up to second in receiving.

In the win against the BC Lions two days ago, Ellingson recorded his third 100-yard receiving game of the season and second multi-touchdown game. With the 111 receiving yards, Ellingson fell just 9 yards short of his CFL-high of 120 receiving yards he had in the season opener.

Ellingson is fourth all-time in the FIU receiving record book with 2,018 yards and third all-time with 14 career receiving touchdowns. His career-best game at FIU was in Don Shula Bowl VII in 2008 where he had 138 receiving yards in the overtime classic at Dolphin Stadium.

Here's what former FIU football players did in the NFL on Sunday:

Antwan Barnes (N.Y. Jets) had two tackles and a sack as his team rallied to beat Tampa Bay. T.Y. Hilton had three catches for 20 yards in his Indianapolis Colts win over the Oakland Raiders. Johnathan Cyprien had three tackles and a quarterback hit in his Jacksonville Jaguars loss to the Kansas City Chiefs. Tourek Williams makes his NFL debut tonight on Monday Night Football when his San Diego Chargers host the Houston Texans.
