Hello World Too

FIU baseball opens its 41st season this weekend with a three-game series against College World Series participant Stony Brook at the FIU ballpark. First pitch tonight for the opener is at 6 p.m. Saturday's game is at 4 p.m. and Sunday's series finale is at 1 p.m.

If you can't make it out to the ballpark this weekend, then you can always join me on PantherVision as I'll have the call of each home game and select road games this season. Special guests will join me during the broadcasts this season. You can also join me by tweeting me @PetePelegrin during the broadcasts.

There are several promotions at the ballpark this weekend (see poster below) including Bark at the Park on Sunday where you can bring your dogs to watch FIU baseball.

Former FIU fullback Aston Wilson, now the head of Aston Sports Representation, signed former FIU kicker Jack Griffin and former Panthers running back Jeremiah Harden.

Earlier this year, Wilson signed former FIU linebacker Winston Fraser. Wilson will be looking to get each Panther into a professional football league this fall whether it be the NFL, CFL or AFL.
