Hello World Too

The 2013 FIU Baseball season opens Friday evening when the Panthers host College World Series participant Stony Brook in a three-game series that runs through Sunday afternoon. The first pitch for Opening Night is at 6 p.m. Saturday's game is at 4 p.m. and Sunday's series finale is at 1 p.m. with a special "Bark in the Park" promotion where you can bring your pooches to watch the national pastime.

If you can't make it out to the ballpark, you can always watch on PantherVision. This weekend Friday and Sunday's games will be live videostreamed on PantherVision with myself calling the action. Saturday there is no PantherVision for baseball because PantherVision will broadcast the FIU/WKU basketball game. CLICK HERE for PantherVision

From now until then, we’ll take a look at the 2013 Panthers by position with the help of the FIU coaches. First up, the FIU catchers and infielders with Panthers head coach Turtle Thomas and infield coach Scott Pittenger.
